Team leader information.

  • Technical meeting Friday 17:30. All entries will be confirmed at this meeting. Walk through at stadium.
  • The competition is WPA approved, and results that will submitted for those athletes with better performance than on WPA ranking
  • Doping test. There can be conducted random doping tests during the competition. For World records, the Antidoping Norway is standby to perform doping test of given athlete.
  • The competition will be held under the WPA Rules and Regulations.
  • Call times: Meet latest 10 min for track events, 20 min for field events at event site. No call room.
  • Warm up areas. Technical events will warm up at event site. Track events can warm up at competition venue if available. Other areas outside stadium to be used  for general warm up.
  • Equipment room provided.
  • Personal implements. There will be throwing implements provided in all different weights. Personal implants can be used after check up. Implement check will be at Implement check room next to 100m finish line at Saturday 11:30 Personal implements will be kept in storage and brought out to the event. Personal implements can not be used for training or warm up after check up. Personal implements to be collected at Implement Check after competition.
  • Competition will be mixed classes with Raza point score to determine final ranking. Where there are sufficient number of participants, there will be single class events as well.
  • Start blocks are voluntary. There will be no electronic registration of false start.
  • Assistance for adjusting starting blocks will be allowed. After adjustments, coaches and other staff should stay outside field of play.
  • Seated throwers will have 6 consecutive throws before next thrower. There will be given sufficient time for athlete to recover from each throw.
  • 100m will have semifinals in the morning sessions, and finals in the afternoon. The finals will have seeded heats based on time performance in the semifinal, and could consist of classes different from semifinals. For WPA ranking purpose, both semifinal and final will give valid results. Final ranking and Nordic Champions will be calculated after last 100m Final. Results from semifinal will not be included in calculations.
  • Due to safety, track athletes with wheels can participate in same heats with running athletes in events with separate lines, 100m, 200m and 400m. From 800m and up, athlete with wheels must be in separate heats from running athletes.
  • Occasionally, there can be a mix of female and male with wheels in the same heat, but will not compete against each other, and results will be separated in different results list.
  • Guide-runners will be part of medal ceremony and awarded same medal as the para athlete
  • There will be no national anthems during medal ceremony, neither flag raising. The flags for all the 5 participating nations will be up during competition period for both days.
  • Jury. For disputes, there will be a jury in which 1 person form each Team will be elected.
  • Transport. There will be bus shuttle from hotel to stadium. Saturday in the morning, for lunch and in the afternoon. Sunday in the morning, and return to hotel for lunch. Time schedule is posted under Transport and Parking.
  • Meals: Friday dinner 19:00. Saturday lunch 12:00, dinner 19:00. Sunday lunch 13:00
  • Check-out hotel Sunday morning before departure to stadium. Luggage storage available at hotel.
  • In Field events, if more than 8 athletes in the medal event, only top 8 ranked athletes by Raza Points after round 3 will be permitted to have 3 more attempts.
